Perhaps a woman who is apprehensive concerning pregnancy might enjoy sexual experiences with another woman, thereby being able to release all her fears, and relax. Perhaps the dictates of society might even load two frustrated women into physical intimacy. This certainly must be true in many cases. All of the "reasons" you quoted must have been true, at one time or another, for some wonen. However, I would hesitate to combine these explanations in an article which attempts clarification of the entire origin of female homosexuality. The so pressures you have listed could scarcely oreate a Lesbian (as one of your writers did point out). Being a Lesbian means considerably more than having a physical need.
